Organization
The organizational structure of PMSC is designed to provide maximum visibility for all of our projects at the corporate level and accommodate direct interaction with the on-site contract offices as is necessary for their operational support. Our company was founded on the principle of providing as much autonomy for our on-site Project Managers as possible while providing the structure and resources to support and augment the site management and staff whenever needed. Similarly, certain components of our corporate offices are afforded direct interaction with on-site operations in order to achieve the goals or requirements of their particular disciplines. The unique demands place on the offices overseeing Safety, Quality Control, Environmental Compliance and the like, fall under this organizational initiative. However, with those considerations aside, the PMSC corporate organization, while depicted as a straight line reporting system has always endeavored to maintaining open door communications to the greatest degree possible, with the understanding that information flow is essential to the executive decision-making process. The firm is neither so old nor so entrenched in its ways that the staff can’t recall the times when the CEO and COO were not above donning a tool belt to "pitch in."
